Enabling or disabling call forwarding is very straightforward for SpectrumVoIP customers. This guide will detail how to forward all calls going to a single extension. Please be aware, this is not for forwarding all to a single 10-digit number, but rather a single extension. The guide for forwarding all calls to a full 10-digit can be found HERE.
Via Phone
To enable call forwarding for a single extension, dial *72 followed by the number you would like the extension to be forwarded to. For example: *722148675309 would forward a SpectrumVoIP phone to 2148675309.
To disable call forwarding dial *73 on the phone that has forwarding enabled.
Via web
To enable or disable call forwarding to an extension via the web interface, first, navigate to my.spectrumvoip.com.
- Login with your username and password (To reset your password click HERE). Your view will not look similar to this:
- Select Features
- Select Telephone lines
- Click your number which will be a 7 digit number to the left of your line information (shown below as 1234567)
- Enable call forwarding by typing the target number into the box next under "Forward to:" next to "All calls, without ringing telephone, to number:". Be sure that the number that will be forwarded to is only imputed with the number, do not add any symbols such as (), -, . or the forward will not work. Then click Save. (1234567891 in the example below would be where the number would forward to)
To remove the forward via the web interface, simply erase the number next to "All Calls, without ringing telephone, to number:" and click save. This will remove the forward.
