Do all phones come with a warranty? How long is the warranty for?
New phones come with a standard one-year manufacturer warranty. If you purchase a refurbished or new phone from our Webstore, it will also come with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. If the warranty for your phone has expired, you will need to purchase a phone from the webstore as a replacement.
Warranty Policy After the one-year manufacturer warranty
If there is still an active lease on the account, SpectrumVoIP will be able to replace phones with a refurbished model. The model of the replacement may not be the exact model of the phone being replaced. Standard warranty reasons still apply.
Will SpectrumVoIP warranty 3rd party purchased phones?
SpectrumVoIP will not warranty phones purchased from 3rd party companies or phones not provided by us.
Obtaining replacement.
Please call in to technical support to first troubleshoot the phone. If a technical support agent is able to get the device to work again, then a replacement might not be needed.
If a replacement is deemed necessary, the technical support agent will initiate an RMA (return merchandise authorization) request with our shipping department.
