The transferring process detailed below should work regardless of the phone model, however button location may differ.
Blind Transferring Vs. Guided Transfer
Blind transferring is when you transfer a call to another destination without announcing the call. This call will ring directly to the destination after you transfer it.
Guided transferring is when you transfer a call to another destination but have a chance to announce the call. This allows you to give the destination some information regarding the call you are transferring them before they receive the call.
Blind Transferring
1. While on an active call, press the transfer key.
2. Dial the destination you would like to transfer the call to, this can be an extension or an external phone number.
3. Press the "Transfer" or "B. Transfer" button to complete the transfer.
Guided Transferring
1. While on an active call, press the transfer key.
2. Dial the destination you would like to transfer the call to, this can be an extension or an external phone number.
3. Wait for the call to begin ringing.
4. After you have connected to the destination you can press the transfer button to complete the transfer. If you would like to cancel the transfer, you can press the end call button while it is ringing or after it has connected.
